Growing up, Hayson describes himself as a teenager who often gave his parents a difficult time. Because of his non-compliant behavior, he received fewer rewards than he might have otherwise. Despite those experiences, he is clear about one thing: his parents were the best, and they always made sure he had what he needed.
Those early years taught him valuable lessons about independence. He became accustomed to solving problems on his own, learning how to survive difficult situations without relying on others. Over time, loneliness became something he accepted, eventually transforming into what he now describes as freedom without explanation. Rather than seeking permission or approval, he focused on becoming self-reliant and finding his own path.
That same independent mindset carried into his professional life. After years of earning licenses and certifications, Hayson took a step back to evaluate his progress. Looking at everything he had accomplished, he realized he had outgrown the company where he was employed. That realization became the turning point that inspired him to establish his own business and pursue a future built on his own vision.
Building a Business Through Opportunity
For Hayson, opportunity has always been one of life’s greatest motivators. He believes that recognizing and acting on opportunities can change the course of a person’s future.

While signed to Hollywood Casting and Hollywood International Films, he had the opportunity to meet actor Harrison Ford during the filming of a scene. On another occasion, he crossed paths with singer Brian McKnight while the artist was conducting sound checks. These experiences reinforced the value of being present when opportunities arise.

A Vision Guided by Independence
Looking toward the future, Hayson has ambitious plans for continued growth. His vision includes retail locations featuring “OLD PATROLMAN BRAND” products such as security technology, tactical wear, firearms, and related equipment. He also plans to establish security training centers and develop an OLDPGS Sister Event Security Only Company, expanding the organization’s presence within the security industry.
One of the most meaningful lessons Hayson shares comes from reflecting on his own life. Although he describes himself as non-compliant during his school years, he believes his determination eventually led him to become self-made. Rather than achieving success all at once, he built it gradually, earning hundreds of thousands at a time until reaching millions. For him, that journey represents the true meaning of freedom without explanation.
He also reflects with gratitude on his childhood, noting that although his parents never allowed him to skip grades, doing so allowed him to experience being a kid. He even remembers the popularity of Doogie Howser, M.D. during that period, a reminder that every stage of life contributes to personal growth.
